Joseph D. Kayne, DDS

Dr. Joseph Kayne obtained his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. From there, he attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he received advanced training in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Kayne then practiced dentistry in New Jersey for the Air Force, where he was able to gain significant experience with difficult crown and bridge treatments, implants, and complicated root canal treatment. He believes education is integral to good clinical practice, which is why he completes far more than the required continuing education every year. Dr. Kayne enjoys every aspect of dentistry, but most of all, he enjoys the time he spends getting to know his patients. He believes that good dentistry can only be accomplished with good communication.

Dr. Kayne was born and raised in Longview, Texas. He met his wife, Becca, while they were both attending Brigham Young University, and they were married in her hometown of St. George. They have two beautiful daughters and an adorable little boy. Dr. Kayne’s hobbies include playing the guitar and piano, hiking, fishing, and doing anything outdoors where he can see the mountains. In his spare time, he likes to garden and has a secret love of all things nautical. He also enjoys cooking Chinese food, visiting new places with his wife and playing games with his family. He is very excited to meet each of you and to build long-term relationships.

John C. Wilson, DMD

Dr. Wilson grew up in Utah and spent his teenage years in Box Elder County. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah in 2007 with a B.S. in Psychology. Dr. Wilson graduated in 2011 from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine. After graduating dental school, Dr. Wilson continued his dental education enrolling in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the United States Air Force. While in the AEGD program, Dr. Wilson attained special training in all aspects of dentistry to include IV sedation certification. Dr. Wilson also gained special skill and knowledge in removing wisdom teeth and other dental surgeries and procedures.

Upon graduating from the residency, Dr. Wilson served his country with the Air Force for four years being stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, AK, and subsequently at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Wilson is proud to continue serving his country and the state of Utah as a member of the Utah Air National Guard.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Dental Association, and has served in leadership roles for the Provo District of the Utah Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, in which Dr. Wilson is pursuing his Fellowship, and completes 20 hours of continuing education each year.

Dr. Wilson and his family were happy to move back home to Utah in 2020, where he has been practicing with Rock Canyon Dentistry since then. Dr. Wilson has five kids, a beautiful wife and a small handful of pets. They enjoy spending time together in the scenic Utah mountains. Dr. Wilson enjoys hiking, skiing, reading good books and talking about all fandoms!
